We wanted to go hiking to Hawk Mountain on my last week day off before school starts but it was raining the entire day, so next day when I got home, we packed and took off for a short hike to Governor Dick's tower. Beautiful and peaceful.

That was really cool to see - this tree had leaves grow right out of the bark of the tree all the way around it.

We did not quite remember where the trail goes to the tower but we found the way. Brody did not want to climb up so it was me and Brandon and Kyra. I like clibming there. Look on the top is breath taking if it is clear and sunny. Pictures won't provide that view. Lancaster, Lebanon and Dauphin counties.

There is no Mt. Gretna without Jigger shop. We all had some. Love their pecan ice cream. It was a good day :)
