Moscow Subway Facts

Everyone knows Russian subway is the most beautiful in the world. I have been to NYC, Philli and DC. Nothing even comes close. I looked up some facts for it:
- It has 12 lines
- 195 stations as of now.
- Till 2020 there will be built 79 more.
- The deepest station "Victory Park" is 84 metres under the ground.
- The closes station to the ground is only 5 metres under - "Pechatniki".
- The longest escalator is 126.8  metres "Victory park".
- I just learned something very amazing - when you go TO downtown, you can hear male voices announncing the names of the stations and when you go FROM downtown - female voices. Same if you take a cirle line - if you go clockwise - male, if you go opposite direction - female. It is for people who are visual impaired. How cool is that??
- The longest ride is between "Krylatskoe" and "Strogino" - 6625m.
- The shortest ride is between "Vystavochnoe" and "Mezhdunarodnoe" - 500m.
