Bely Gorodok Rocks

We waited for the right day to go with no rain and yucky weather. Look at this sun! Endless green!
Those pine trees are like pencils.
Церковь Николая Чудотворца - деревня Белое. Cathedral of Nicolas The Miracle Maker. I think it is the closest I could translate it. Initially was built in 1812 and was rebuilt recently and it is amazingly beautiful.
Илья Муромец - It is from Russian folk tales. A knight who was always fighting 3 headed dragon.
All those village houses in the far. Love Russian nature.
How cool does that looks Like the trees are narrowing ahead (they are not).
All those birch trees...
We parked, took our buckets and took off.  We hoped for good collection of mushrooms but guess what. All we found were just 3 who knows what mushrooms. We did get some (a few) nuts. That was it.
We came back, got down to the river and just watched the water. I found the smallest shell ever and I forgot it there after we ate. Such bummer! Wanted to show the kids. Was so upset I forgot about it. Water was so clear and not cold. Love how my boots look here :)
I let my Dad realize how much I love him because I was brave enough to take the bug off his neck. Disgust for the bug that I overcame for my Dad :)

We had fun just looking around at the houses and trees. There was this apple tree that belonged to one of the houses but its brunches hung low over the fence so I could grab an apple when we drove by which I did and at that time the dog started barking. We laughed and drove away. My Mom said if those apples were good, there would not be any. So true. It was the most sour I have ever tried :)
