Philly Zoo And Such

Neither kids wanted to leave. Just staying in a hotel is a lot of fun, I guess :) We let them go for the last swim and had breakfast which I have to mention hotel breakfast. Money was so well spent. They had everything on the earth and we could some food to be cooked for us. Such enjoyment!

It was time to go to the Zoo. We all were excited until about the time we got there. This guy was waiting for us even way before we got to the zoo. Funny guy, this hippo :)
It was getting hot with every minute getting to 92F. Yikes. Here, we were still enjoying it.
First we hit the area of endangered animals. A lot of them monkey kind
Bats, of course! We could not miss those guys!
It was super cool how all those monkeys could go over the zoo. They just watch you go and run inside this tunnel.
The world got a new type of monkey.
This is not cool :) yikes.
Snakes. We would not miss this exhibit for anything.
One  more. :)
When we stopped to look at alligators, who were supposed to be fed in 5 minutes. We waited. Longer than 5 minutes. the place was getting crowded. Kids were pushing, getting closer to the glass to see better.
Brandon seemed off. Very off. We still decided to wait since it was just about time. They showed the whole production of imitating thunderstorm for the alligators, with rain and lightning. They seemed to enjoy it. We could see that very well but neither of us really saw them being fed, it was just like someone threw them food and it was it.
After that both kids asked to leave. It was too hot and they were both tired. Neither of two of us could believe it. Tickets were free, we were there having fun and they wanted to leave.
We decided there was no point in making them walk through hot zoo if they are done. We got in the car and drove home.

Brandon fell asleep in the car for the entire hour. He did seem off. Both kids had fun, overall, so if we could not do everything. Oh well. It was still a fantastic weekend!
