PSSA is not something new in the state of PA but.. As Mrs. Weimer said, they will be asking questions of the chapters that children did not learn yet but the time tests are administered, that is why they try to cramp them all in at the last minute.
With Brandon, it is no big deal, he gets everything pretty quick but I would think some kids need much more time to process it. So unfair.
So for the tests, kids get snacks, they get extra 50 min of recess which makes it 1h 20 min and a day before the tests started, they had an assembly where they sang songs and some of them were to the tune of "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen, "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz and "What Does A Fox Say".
They said results should be mailed to us sometime in summer.
Now, April 3rd - tests come and gone and tomorrow kids are having pizza/pj/movie party. What a great reward to look forward to!
