I Am Overschooled :)

Yesterday I spent my whole morning at kids' school. First, I helped our Mrs. Decker in Kyra's class. Majority of my work was making journals for two months, working with their folders and just paper stuff. However, while I worked, I could hear kids doing their jobs. When they had writing, Mrs. Decker was walking around and checking everybody's work. It is interesting how some children get stuck on only certain things they want to write about.

There are a few children, who are stuck on sports, horses and Mom. When Mrs. Decker told Victoria, she needed to write about something else but Mom, what do you think she chose? Dad.

6 kids out of 17 started new level 6 journals. Kyra was among them. It requires more writing and less illustrations. She does not particularly likes to do that but she is progressing well enough :)

Brandon asked me to have lunch with him, so here I went. I got in line with 2nd graders and they were so helpful in telling me how things worked. First, Brandon did not even acknowledged me, following Valerie like a puppy (so cute!) but after we got in line, he got me next to him. Majority of conversations were, believe it or not, about upcoming Superbowl. And they are only mostly 7. Even girls talked about it. Oh, brother.

What a fun, fun morning!
